Boyd Express is a lookup tool for estimating the fair market value of model trains. This page explains what happens with the information you enter.
No accounts, no personal data
Boyd Express does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or location.
What we do with your search
When you enter a manufacturer and item number, that information is used to search eBay sold listings, general web search results, and a handful of hobby marketplace sites (via the Firecrawl API) to estimate a fair market value. The manufacturer, item number, and resulting price data are cached on our server for up to 7 days so repeat searches for the same item are faster — this is pricing data about the item, not information about you.
No tracking or advertising
We do not use analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising of any kind, and we do not sell or share data with third parties beyond what's needed to perform the search itself (Firecrawl, and the sites being searched).
Children's privacy
Boyd Express is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
